Confirmed. I originally picked up Latendresse to fill a physicality need (not as dirty as it sounds), but after grabbing Cole and Telegin last deadline I think I'm fine on that front. Raymond has a cheap contract for the upcoming season, after which he'll garner a raise. I asked for the pick swap to move up a bit (having dealt my recently acquired 2nd) and because Raymond will take some time to fill out into a 78-79 off, 72 con scoring winger, whereas Latendresse is only a few stickhandling points away from being fully developed. It's nice to deal with a new face too!

Raymond didn't fit into my plans, the Canucks lacked depth at the bottom 6 last season. This trade brings in a hard hitting winger that will suit well on the 3rd line.
