I met Adam a little under two years ago, and a good friendship was quickly born. He asked me to be a part of EHEC as it was beginning to form. I had limited knowledge of how online leagues worked, but I had a solid understanding of the game itself and its files, and with the support and past experiences of both Adam and Ryan, I eagerly accepted the role. Unfortunately, the time that I had in abundance before was taken away as responsibilities outside the league increased (growing up sucks). Eventually it got to a point where I could no longer maintain being a part of the Committee and running a team without damaging the integrity the league and the rest of the Committee. I resigned that position so Adam could find other help to alleviate some of the outstanding work he has done, with every intention of running my team, though I did take a wait-and-see approach to be sure I could do this without dragging the team through management hell. I have finally come to the conclusion that even now, I'm simply not putting enough time into my team that is necessary. Some of you may point to my paltry number of trades since this league started as evidence of this all along, but rest assured that I'm like a kid with candy at times; I'm very nit-picky and have a hard time letting any of my good players go (as no one wants the bad ones). You should see some of my past hockey video game savefiles. Hopefully my reluctance to pull some triggers has left a solid enough of a foundation for the future GM to build on.
I'm very thankful for all of the excellent people I have come across here, and want to tip my hat to Adam and Ryan for the outstanding work that they've done here. I am very appreciative of the opportunity that they gave me in the EHEC and will remember my time here fondly. It was a fantastic experience for myself and a lot of fun as well. We gathered a solid list of GMs that have been terrific and helped make this league what it is today. This league and all the work that has gone into it is something that everyone can and should be proud of. Though I won't be here anymore I will still check in from time to time to see what's happening, and I'm still available for anyone who wants to get in contact with me to shoot the breeze.
I know this whole thing is probably longer than necessary, but I figured it was better than saying "I'm done, see ya around."

I want to wish the best of luck to Adam, Tom, and Quinn, to all the GMs, and to the league itself. I'd also like to thank Adam and Ryan once again for all the hard work and late-nights put in, and all the fun we've had in the process.
So, see ya around,
-Nick
