Spirits are high in the Windy City as the Blackhawks take care of the Coyotes while the Habs win on Hockey Night In Canada in convincing fashion over the Leafs. The Caps rattle off four straight to take care of the Kings while I eagerly await David Backes's return this week.

Crosby vs. Ovechkin doesn't have the same hype now that Sidney's out West. Bern, you should have kept him.

BTW, the Southeast is getting ridiculous again.

Two Pacific rivals losing? I'll take that. Now that I've said that watch my Sharks lose to the Panthers today, even though a shark would totally kill a panther on neutral melted ice.

melted ice is not a neutral surface...you would need some ocean, some solid platforms (like ice flows or something) for the panther to hop around on to be totally neutral. someone set this up so we can find out.

in other news, Hawks win! Hawks WIN!!!!!!!!

Geez, what a boring game. We could've at least gotten a fight in there somewhere.

10 hits for Oliver Ekman-Larsson, though.
