Dallas Stars are now off to the second round, facing another abbrasive and talented team, Los Angeles Kings who play simillar style of game to Dallas Stars.

There is a promise of close battle.

Quick word from GM MB before the series:
"Good thing that we were able to surprise the Hawks, and especially with the rivalry we have against each other, it was a great feeling to win those series. Now, the LA Kings is a different team. They're younger, faster, feisty and always hungry but so are we!"

Also, a quick word from the head coach, Jere Lehtinen:
"We are prepared, rested - there's no excuses. We got to make the most of it, every single shift, every single battle, corner battle, all the details that determinates a winner from a loser."

Small update from Toby Petersen:
Nazem Kadri is skating again after 2 months (upper-body injury) but still not able to jump into action right away. It can take couple more days. Got to be patient here, but it's going well and it's definitely going to be sooner than later for Nazem..."

Assistant coach Mike Modano revealed that starting line-up or any further details (except injury update on Nazem Kadri) will not be published earlier than a single hour before the game itself.
