As I will be away this weekend, I can't really be sure what the final number is, but Martin Lojek is to be extended a one year deal for whatever the difference is between my team and the floor, as a stop-gap measure until I have the time.

2011-12 Extensions. Oh boy. Just anybody tell me if I'm doing this correctly before I get too far ahead of myself... Only have Czechs to re-sign, anyway. Is there anything in the rulebook about me low-balling Vokoun?

Michael Frolìk -
4 years @ 3,700,000
(400% increase (850x4) + 300,000 for '3x supplemental stats')
default bonus

Michal Repik -
1 year @ 1,700,000
(100% increase (845*2))
default bonus

Radek Dvorak
1 year @ 1,700,000
(no increase necessitated)

400% increase would be the increase + the current base. So, for Frolik, 4.4M. (only 200k in attribute bonuses, SK and Faceoffs)

Repik: 1,691,333 - 200,000 (CH and HI less than 65) + 350,000 (offensive specialist) = 1,841,333

Dvorak: 1.7M is right.

On Vokoun, his salary will be decided by an arbitrator. Just post that you wish to send him to arbitration. If you don't, he'll just become a UFA. (and he would count as one of the over 32 guys you can sign)

# of Expiring 32 & over contracts / # Eligible to be signed

1/1
2/2
3/2
4/2
5 or more/3

An award has been determined in the Tomas Vokoun arbitration.

FLA comps: Nabokov, Turco

Arbitrator comps: Nobody's that overpaid

Vokoun got the shaft in EHM for sure.

The NHL real life rule on arbitrations is that the player's representation cannot ask for more than a 15% discount on the previous contract. Ours is 20%. Florida proposed 4.6M, exactly 80% of what he made last year and there's no reason to lobby for a number above that.

Zaq, you can accept/reject Tomas Vokoun at 4.6M for 2 years.

If Zaq declines this award, and he reaches the open market (which, FLA cannot bid on him), the minimum allowable bid is 4.275M because of the Jonas Hiller Rule.
