We have our first surprising result as the underrated Slovaks take out the Ovechkinless Russians. The US and Canada have no trouble and it's a shooting gallery in both, no shutouts to speak of tonight however. http://www.ehechockey.com/Olympics.zip is ready for the next puck drop.

Nice effort from Gaborik.
14 PPs to 0 in the Canada game? Come on refs.

40 shots from Thornton, Iginla, Toews, and Nash and only two goals, 48 shots on the powerplay and only two goals...were they shooting from the red line or something? Well, at least it was more decisive than the real Canada/Switzerland game.
Also, props to Slovakia for bouncing back after losing 6-1 themselves the night before.
