Re: December 6, 2015
St. Louis is over the cap but has posted changes to be made. I don't get the same total he shows for it (St. Clair's already in the minors and Timashov will get 680k rather than 600k though those don't make the difference) but it would still get them under the cap (I have 67,996,872).
Also, are we just allowing Schroeder as a free release because he was a fast-sign? Because he was making more than $1.5M.

Where did this Jordan Schroeder 2.5M fast-sign come from? And who said you could "fast-sign" anyone with his OF and DE?

STL didn't fast sign him, it was a EHM fast-sign.Commish Bub(NYR) wrote:Where did this Jordan Schroeder 2.5M fast-sign come from? And who said you could "fast-sign" anyone with his OF and DE?

Wow, never seen EHM fast-sign a guy like that before.Tampa Bay GM wrote:STL didn't fast sign him, it was a EHM fast-sign.Commish Bub(NYR) wrote:Where did this Jordan Schroeder 2.5M fast-sign come from? And who said you could "fast-sign" anyone with his OF and DE?
In light of that, he will be a free release, with no buyout penalty.

Hm, Is it the 80,000 dollar difference that puts me right to CAP or did I miss a penalty

Me either. It either means Paul Holmgren is very good or very bad. Or that he likes to give out very large and senseless contracts in which case it means EHM is accurately simulating real world Holmgren.Commish Bub(NYR) wrote:Wow, never seen EHM fast-sign a guy like that before.
Then I'm going to assume there is also no cap penalty (since he was over $1M and in the minors, it counted for $1.5M against the cap).Commish Bub(NYR) wrote:In light of that, he will be a free release, with no buyout penalty.
There's also St. Clair's cap hit that wasn't a part of the previous but that I'm guessing you deducted.BLUESGM wrote:Hm, Is it the 80,000 dollar difference that puts me right to CAP or did I miss a penalty
