Average age of our teams

Post by Dallas Stars GM »

I find it interesting to see the average age of players from other teams in this league.
By posting it here, we could determine the youngest and the oldest team here in EHEC.

I'll start with the average age of Dallas Stars' players: 26.043

(note: Please, count only the current players from your NHL team)

What's yours?

P.S.: Anybody who minds doing the same thing with posting our team cap-hits?
Thought it could reveal the conditions in the league and thus, give us a little bit of insight heading into the new season.

Detroit's avg is 28 years young with 7 guys in their 30's

I have always been very young but this year I have more North American's now. Therefore less talent but more CON and grit

14 Canadians
3 americans
3 CZE
2 SWE
1 RUS

I don't believe in averages.

I have 10 waiver-ineligible players under 24, one 24 year old (Julius Nattinen, 13th forward), one 27 (Jonas Junland, only here for his sweet 400k cap hit), and then 10 players between 29 and 36 years of age. Bimodality 4 life.

Basically the old farts sit in one corner of the room and talk about how the young'uns on the other side could have been their children if they'd just had more unprotected sex with puck bunnies.
