Connor Rankin's debut is spoiled as the surging Sens steamroll Binkles Blues. Laich scores late, but Vik's Habs can only muster 10 shots on the road against the B's in a 3-1 loss. It's a snoozer in Toronto as the Leafs hold the Wings to 8 shots en-route to a 1-0 victory. Wings do not register a shot during the 1st period. The Lightning and Wild combine for 5 shots in the first period, but Marian Gaborik snipes two to give the Bolts the win. The Pens ride a Iginla hat trick to victory against the Isles. Philly gets the extra point during the skills competition. James Neal scores just over two minutes into the third sending the Sabres to victory. Florida is able to hold off a late Predators push to gather two points on the road. Dallas stuns the Kings, outshooting them 34-18 during a 3-2 win. Landeskog ties the game with Saros pulled, and Maxwell Reinhart's first of the season gives the Avs the Ovvvvvvvvvertime win. Julies Flames run rampant over the Devils. Da Hawks grab two points on the road against the Oil. Kovalchuk scores the game winner with 12 seconds left as the Sharks desperately try to turn around their season with a win at home against the Coyotes.
Notes:
DET AHL, Nastasiuk injury.
MIN AHL, injuries and they had to fast-sign a Eric Gelinas.
NSH NHL and AHL were a mess. Some positions changed to avoid fast-signs.

Re: November 22nd, 2014
Patrick Sharp played 32:40. It's a miracle he's still standing.
It's also nice to be on the winning end of one of those third period shitshows. Also, who said anything about desperation?
Not so nice: still terrible special teams and why are my players taking so many damn penalties this season?

Trying to get hits for the sim by using misleading titles.SharksGM wrote:Patrick Sharp played 32:40. It's a miracle he's still standing.

Ouch. But second straight game without a single minus player on the team. So that's ... something. And that's more shots than the farmers managed.Tampa Bay GM wrote:Laich scores late, but Vik's Habs can only muster 10 shots on the road against the B's in a 3-1 loss.
Steven Shipley knocked out of commission for two weeks by Cody McLeod. Suspension time.
San Jose (64,841,734) and St. Louis (65,001,545) are both over the cap.
Vladimir Mihalik's week in the AHL is up.
And old man Danny Briere is down to an 81 POT.

Also, 18 hours is up on the UFAs.
Re: November 22nd, 2014
Not what I expected, but 2 points is 2 points against a division opponent.
Gives me some options into the benchmark game on Monday, I suppose.

Cody's a repeat offender too... what scum.
NSH getting auto'd probably got me the win though, and Briere's still got a trick or two, apparently.

2 week injury + second offense = 1.5 games, I believe. Round up to 2.
Re: November 22nd, 2014
Last post i seen in salary cap thread was :
STL: $62526545 with 22 players
I only added in Rankin which makes 1.35 mill
Which would make my cap 63.876545 mill and Cap limit is 64 mill
Is there something i am missing here?
If i am missing something then i will send Rankin back down before sim tonight. But please let me know so i can redo my lines before sim

I don't know about any changes made since the cap figures were posted and have nothing to do with those numbers but I just added up the salaries on your team to verify and they're 65,001,545.

Re: November 22nd, 2014
How does whatever you use calculate them? Because, like I said, I manually added them up and came up with the same number that my Excel macro gets.Calgary.Flames wrote:I get $62 526 545 without Rankin as well.
