FINALLY games are underway for the 2014-15 regular season!

Only four games tonight, but plenty of action. Ales Hemsky scores the first goal of the EHEC season....but does it hold up? Plus, we have our first blowout and our first shootout of the season. And one lucky player has a four-point night. Plus, our first suspension:

CGY Peter Holland will sit for four games for knocking out VAN Jordan Eberle for two months.

Dat defense.

It wasn't a bad effort for a road opener but a win would have been nice. Also fewer than 5 goals against. But Kovalchuk scored 2 goals in his debut and is well on pace to break Gretzky's single season records.

Yes. I've done it before and I can't remember the committee ever rejecting a trade involving an injured player.

Only thing about trading injured players in EHM is that it has to be done manually through players.ehm. Dan knows this, but just saying it out loud.

Fowler trade would of never happened without allowing him to be moved while on the IR, so I can't come out against it.
