This is just a placeholder for tonight's sim. Nothing's been done yet, so relax.
Remember that sims will take place no earlier than 9pm Eastern US time. Good luck to everyone!

Results here: http://www.ehechockey.com/schedule.php
Standings here: http://www.ehechockey.com/standings.php
League leaders here: http://www.ehechockey.com/leagueleaders.php
League file here: http://www.ehechockey.com/ehec.zip
FINALLY games are underway for the 2014-15 regular season!
Only four games tonight, but plenty of action. Ales Hemsky scores the first goal of the EHEC season....but does it hold up? Plus, we have our first blowout and our first shootout of the season. And one lucky player has a four-point night. Plus, our first suspension:
CGY Peter Holland will sit for four games for knocking out VAN Jordan Eberle for two months.

Dat defense.
It wasn't a bad effort for a road opener but a win would have been nice. Also fewer than 5 goals against. But Kovalchuk scored 2 goals in his debut and is well on pace to break Gretzky's single season records.

To everyone: get yr lines in order. Don't make us turn this car around and go home. Or bring up your AHL backup G for a week.

Only Montréal played last night...Singin the BLUES wrote:Same with Buffalo, Chicago, Dallas, MTL, Nashville, Ott, TB,Washington

And what's wrong with my lines btw?
Re: October 8, 2014
MTL lines are showing
30 sec pass
50 HAG
20 NZT
20 Pass
That dont look like 50% to me

Re: October 8, 2014
Ok
So there's something i ignore about tactics.
Where is the thread for this part of the rules?

Between injuries and suspensions, Calgary is going to run out of players soon.

Yes. I've done it before and I can't remember the committee ever rejecting a trade involving an injured player.La Sainte-Flanelle wrote:BTW, is it allowed to trade injured players?Bub(NYR) wrote:Between injuries and suspensions, Calgary is going to run out of players soon.

Right, but we've never disallowed it, and without having discussed a rules change I'm fine with it. (Unless there's a discussion I missed?)SharksGM wrote:The NHL doesn't allow trading of injured players, FYI.

Re: October 8, 2014
Only players on IR, right? So, if we had a DTD or 1W injury, that would still be allowed in the NHL?SharksGM wrote:The NHL doesn't allow trading of injured players, FYI.
Only thing about trading injured players in EHM is that it has to be done manually through players.ehm. Dan knows this, but just saying it out loud.

Re: October 8, 2014
Fowler trade would of never happened without allowing him to be moved while on the IR, so I can't come out against it.
I will be sure to have updated and legal lines for my opening game.
For anyone still confused, look here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4811#p41205 for updated LINE TACTIC rules.

So happy with the new NHL TV deal with Rogers, having the choice NOT to watch the fucking Leafs on Saturdays is truly a gift from Odin.
As for punishment, I'll start Starkbaum against Bern.
