The second night of the season continues with another light schedule, serving up three games. Two are close; one, not so much. The Leafs miss out on taking a stranglehold of the league standings by losing a close one in Philly, despite M-A Fleury's best efforts. An autolined Detroit lineup takes over during the second period, with new acquisition Mikkel Boedker racking up three points and a first star. And Colorado lays an egg for its home opener, losing to the Ducks first line.

Welcome back, hockey. AND KEEP SENDING THOSE LINES IN.

Fleury was the only reason it was close, and played great considering it was the 2nd game of a back to back. Now he can enjoy a much deserved break before Saturdays home opener.

Martin Frk with another 4 points for the Marlies. 8-)

Woke up in the middle of the night with a "Oh my god! I forgot to do my lines!"

I'd like to thank the NHL. I believe the transfer of the Red Wings to the east was done for my sake. Please keep this confidential
