Going to be time to trade all the players in Winnipeg shortly. Florida continues to be one of the East's most impressive squads thus far. 2012 first round Phillip Di Giuseppe scores his first career goal for the Capitals this evening. When the shootouts appear, they come in bunches as tonight's simulation featured three skills battles.

Vancouver doubles up Minnesota in the shot column, but wins by a single tally. Phoenix rights the ship for one night at least, while the Kings manage to bank two more points.

That'll work. Lets get Washington on Saturday and then take time off for Christmas.

And by take time off, I mean two-a-day bagskates.

Really, that's the best the top line can manage at home against LA? What are the chances they'll be more awake in LA on Sunday?

Shitty night from Niemi but I'll gladly take the point. 3 points in 4 games in a tough back-to-back is fine by me.

Had 15 seconds left in that OT powerplay as well. Savard ties it up then takes the OT penalty, what a guy.
