EHM sure does love the home cooking. Eleven contests tonight and the road squad manages to win one game.

da Leafs respond to Coach Hunter's bag skate and soundly defeat the Blues at ACC. Tavares. Nash. Post points. Like a boss. The dueling Milan's duke it out in Pittsburgh. Calgary posts another stinker as Julien furiously burns through cell minutes. Etroit and Allas entertain the folks at the Joe, and my Jets finally find the can opener.

Nashville collects an impressive victory over Los Angeles. Phoenix and San Jose keep the bloodshed to a minimum, this time.

A solid road effort undone by weak goaltending. Although EHM is particularly harsh in blaming goalies for EN goals.

Still, it's curious to note the discrepancies between goals, shot totals and defensive ratings. The Sharks defense looked at Kyle Quincey's dominating performance and uttered a collective 'meh' while still keeping the home team to 19 shots.

Also, with the 10-12 fuckin' fights this team has had this season, why didn't anyone punch Quincey in the face?

I guess I should be happy but I haven't played any of the top teams yet.

Ah well, from last place to first in my second year. I took a snapshot of the standings for when the owner and I talk about my bonus$$$

Maybe the real Habs should have hired me and the real Ovy would be playing for them...

Enyoying it while it lasts

I was mad a couple nights ago following that loss to the Canes...
Now I'm pissed off.

Changes will be made. I'm not accepting these shitty performances.

Nice to see some clutch goaltending by Bryzgalov. Quincey's a monster.

Kind of an undisciplined game for the Yotes but I can't argue with the results.

I'm without Duchene too! Wouldn't have made much difference with Brodeur doing his best Jonathan Bernier impression though. GG Bern
