either way, when it comes to the Whitecaps at least, this Blackhawks fan is actually on your side tonight. i have one question, though: does Robbie Keane have ANY idea whom he is playing? it is certainly not clear from the video if he does:

We have a soccer team? We wouldn't know. Despite our half a billion dollar tax payer renovation to BC Place with 50,000+ seats, these guys cap the attendance at something like 17,000, so the odd time when Beckham comes to town, nobody gets to watch.

17,000 is better than the majority of the MLS but I'm pretty sure I saw the average attendance at over 19,000 for 2012. I quite enjoy my season tickets in the southsiders section.
All I care about is the product on the field, which has been improved this year but it's been quite inconsistent. It'll be tough against LA but you never know in the MLS.

Tough loss, I've seen one whitecaps game and it was against the Seattle Sounders and it was actually 0-0 tie but it was decently entertaining for the cheap ticket prices.
Yet to make a trip over to the new BC Place though.
