Phoenix doesn't cash in on their four consecutive powerplays in the 3rd, including a 5-on-3, but the time spent in the box hampers the Kings comeback effort as the 'Yotes take a commanding 2-0 series lead heading to the desert. The Jets get their shit together and have a statement game against the Habs, who now head back to Quebec. The Penguins take care of the Flyers again tonight and the Flames and Blackhawks look like they're destined for a long series.

FUCK YEAH!!!

Knowing EHM though, I'll probably lose the next two at home despite having the league's best home record in the regular season.

And where the fuck is Shane Doan? Did he accidentally put on Mike Forney's jersey for this game?

Sorry, I think I have to cheer for one of NSH/CHI to win so I don't have to face LA/PHX in round 2, assuming all goes well on m end.

Speaking of which, yo LA, it's time to wake up.

Actually I may have an answer for you - I just did a test sim where Chris Kunitz suffered a career-ending injury. On a night where he wasn't playing. So I guess he broke his heart during practice or something?

I was trashed when I wrote that; I guess I was seeing double (triple?) when I looked at the boxscore.

Smart kid. Getting a Masters. So much swag it's coming out his ears.

Any father would be lucky to have Tim Gaw dating their daughter.

What's up with Semenov and Eager each injuring one of my guys in both games played so far?
Someone needs to set up and give those bums the beating they deserve.

Very happy with my first ever EHEC playoff win. :D
