There aren't enough facepalms to go around for the Blue Jackets (not so bad, I guess), da Hawks (at least they made it to OT) and Rangers (yeah that's just awful).

Also J.T. Miller's success is absurd.

Well, what do you know? A Sunday simulation completed at a somewhat reasonable hour.. by my standards at least. :D

As hard as I tried Washington still earns two points against the Maple Leafs at Verizon Center. I kid, I kid. Big Bert pots the overtime winner for the 'Canes as Mr. Frolík adds to his point total. Columbus has difficulties at home and drops a 4-2 decision to the Blues.

Calgary takes advantage of lesser division foes. Philadelphia keeps coming for the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference, but loses a key player to injury. The Isles shut out the Rangers while losing track of some ping pong balls. Crosby/Stastny/Brown do work in Chicago.

Lastly, Pittsburgh is on fire. [If only it were literally true.]

Should have sent lines after getting outshot bad yesterday. Got what I deserved for being lazy.

It's nice to have two guys each getting their 30th goal on the same night.
Also, great job allowing 10 or less shots in the last two games.

Saturday's point and a night off weren't enough to keep me in the play-off race. Need to figure the scoring out tonight.
