Nice work Jordan Caron, you get a cookie.

Thanks for nothing, Toronto/Vancouver. Art imitates life, I suppose.

Trade deadline acquisition Paul Martin will miss the next month but the Pens get two points from the Avalanche. The Jackets prevail in a lengthy shootout after a pretty boring game. Four goaltenders record shutouts tonight as Ryan Miller, Tuukka Rask, Chet Pickard, and Carey Price post doughnuts. The Kings get a crucial point with a late 6-on-5 goal but eventually lose in a shootout. The Sharks roll and the Lightning take down the Hurricanes.

Getting the second point works, but I was just glad to escape without Kurt Sauer beheading Rick Nash and paralyzing John Moore.

In a game that boring, some Sauer antics would at least liven things up. Even if it was just losing three straight fights and then being ejected. That game flat-out fucking sucked and goes against the fundamentals of Coyotes hockey.

I knew I should've given them an extra practice on Christmas Day.

Yo DaveG, what's up with those Canes? And Bub's Rangers? At this rate Montreal and TB are both going to make the playoffs.

Happy with the 1 precious point I get up on LA & SJ but I need it with just one game left before a nasty road trip (@ DAL, PHO, EDM, CGY). And now Nashville's just one win behind STL...

10 game point streak for Jumbo, 4 game goal streak for Cole since he started playing on the top line (why didn't I try that earlier?) and Lidstrom with 6 points in a row, 9-1 in the last 10. Niiiice.

Heh, at least my farm team laid a beating on Adam's. Mike Forney's turning into quite the AHL hero... 24 goals in 50 games... with a whopping 8 assists.

Welcome to the Sam Gagner + Ryan Malone show. Too bad the Islanders couldn't pull off a shocker win! Ready for a Western Canada swing.

Big win for me tonight. Catching up big time on EDM and STL. Nashville isn't out yet, the fire sell was helpful and not too much damage yet.

Hagman, last minute UFA was very good tonight, yehi yeah !!

Let's have a great race till the end of the regular season ! :o

I'd like to point at that the Rangers at least did not lose last night. ;)

Glad to see Miller get in and pitch a shut-out, that is good to see on the road. First line still rolling along, but have to get some more production, at least in terms from shots, from the second and third liners. Another cleanly played game, but looks like I didn't root hard enough for Toronto to beat Montreal.

Anyone else struggle to download the zip files in Google Chrome? Might just be me, but took a half hour to download today after 20 minutes yesterday. Firefox loaded it in about 5 seconds.
