A couple surprises as the Leafs and Coyotes take tumbles, luckily I think I'm far enough away to not feel any of Parker's wrath. In the other game, Calgary expectedly control the Ducks.

After the game, Mark Alt asked to be traded to Columbus. "I think they'd be a great fit for me," Alt said, throwing his jersey into a laundry bin. "I can't find a slumpbuster in Phoenix, but I've heard good things about the women in Columbus."

GM Adam Burke, hearing Alt's trade request, laughed and said, "Sure, I'll even help him find one at the airport when I pick him up."

I think Boyd Gordon's days are numbered in Coyote Red. Joe Basaraba is lucky he can scrap. And Boedker. What the fuck. Argh. Terrible performance by the farm team, too. Christ. Fuck around.

Alt's not getting traded, Adam. :P

Didn't even notice Ryan Stone there with his fucking FOUR rating. Huh. He's getting benched for a while, that's for sure.

Maybe Jovanovski is the problem then?

Actually, I think you just need a center with some PL. I don't really have one available, but that would probably help.

Put one between Boedker and Doan and you're set.

Martin Hanzal's return to Earth has led to your downfall.

Nah. The Martin Hanzal Experience season, I got bounced in the first round of the playoffs. The season he only had 50 points, I won the Stanley Cup. This year he's on pace for only 20 points so I expect to sweep my way to the Cup. :P

I think I'll keep Jovanovski, too. He's the best #5 defenseman in the league. :D

A playmaking centre would help though, especially on the power play.

Anyhoo, it's only one game. I do think I might make some minor lineup changes, though.

Ahh, the vindictive GM/coach. Note the 5 step process of coping with grief from an unexpected loss:

1. Denial
2. Anger
3. More anger
4. Sending out trade offers for underperforming players and death threats to their families
5. Angry acceptance

I think my backup goaltender is reincarnated Matt Lombardi (cause he is on the DL)....

Next time I might bench Perry

By the way, NTZ is finally working for me!

I'll probably lose every game against you because of trading Lombardi. I already struggle against Toronto because of trading Turris, Kolarik, and Yandle there...
