Regular Season Checklist

Post by Virtual Jarmo »

Alright guys, please take care of these things.

1. AHL maximum roster size is 26. Make sure you are at 26 or under.
2. Make sure your lines are updated via the GM Control Panel. This includes your AHL lines.
3. I will post cap numbers once all the demotions are done. Take care of it immediately if you are over/under the cap.
4. Prospects invited to training camp are automatically sent back to juniors. If you want them as underagers, you need to sign them. If not, no need to post them in the waiver wire thread.

If I think of anything else, I'll add to this list.

Any way we can see AHL lines in the control panel?

I'll check with Quinn and see how much of a pain in the ass it will be to set that up.

In. Note: you will see an error if you have never uploaded your AHL lines before.

The deadline for what? To have all that done? I'd hope as soon as you can, but obviously before your first regular season game.

Just to clarify, if you have underagers who are injured, you can send other junior-aged players down. No more than three who are active at one time.

If guys are on IR, it doesn't matter to me.

Can you assign guys in junior to the AHL after the season begins or are they in junior for the entire season once assigned, just like in the NHL? Well, I guess the NHL has emergency recalls and the like but no transferring of junior players back and forth regularly.

You can send them to the AHL. Just no more than 3 at any time. Except for the two teams who get an extra one from the Draft Review Rewards.

This is what I meant. All will be done for season opener Adam. Don't worry ;)

Teams in violation of H&G rule:
Los Angeles
Montreal
Nashville
Philadelphia
Phoenix

Rule 3.3: The tactic “hit & grind” cannot be used for more than two lines. Also, the hit & grind tactic can only be used for a maximum of 70 seconds, and no more than 50 on one line.

Teams over 26 players AHL:

Anaheim (28)
Boston (37)
Buffalo (29)
Florida (27)
Minnesota (29)
Montreal (32)
Ottawa (27)

Teams under 26 players AHL:
New Jersey
Vancouver

A lot of teams left out there with incomplete lines. Time to get your shit together boys.

No. Take a look at those two rosters. That's my reminder to fix those AHL teams.

I'm going to take the cast-offs from the teams over the AHL max roster size and send some of them to New Jersey's farm team and Vancouver's farm team. I'll also be fast-signing some guys.

Also, if anybody knows anyone to assume control of these teams, Vancouver, Ottawa (Bern, talk to your buddy), and New Jersey are all available.

Went ahead and assumed control over the teams in violation of the AHL max roster size rule and released players of my choosing. Generally, the lowest OA at the most overfilled position.

Sent most the Boston cast-offs to NJ's farm team and the few from MTL to Vancouver's farm.

Marc-Andre works 80h a week for now, but it will come down to 40 during the winter so don't give the team to someone else. Ottawa is rebuilding anyways.

If he's not back and fully active by December, you're losing an underager on the farm. You'll be down to 2. :D

Yeah, I liked having that on the old site too. It was one of the upgrades that we were going to make after we got the important parts of the website launch squared away.

Just for making me look bad, you're losing 2 of them then.

Try something like that again and I get Kopitar for Halpern.
