Sorry for the delay folks, had a bit of a technical issue with the site.

San Jose - Dallas:
The Stars take a quick lead with a goal just 1:15 into the first, but the Sharks tie it up just 30 seconds later before racing out to a 3-1 lead by the 11:05 mark of the first. After a second period without any noteworthy events, the Sharks re-open scoring 1:48 into the third, with Dallas pulling one back 6 minutes later. A few minutes after that Mattias Samuelsson takes out Mikhail Grigorenko for 40 days, earning a 6 game suspension and a 5 minute major. Unfortunately for Dallas they fail to to take advantage of the powerplay, instead surrendering a shorthanded goal. San Jose takes this one 5-2, and leads the series 3-2.

Chicago - Anaheim:
Anaheim scores 1:22 into the first, and again 13 minutes later to take a 2-0 lead into the first intermission. The Blackhawks respond in the second, potting two goals to level things with 20 to go. In the third, Matt Barzal and Alexander Holtz score early to give the Ducks a 4-2 lead. Owen Tippet would pull one back for Chicago, but the Blackhawks fail to find the equalizer as they lose a close one 3-4, making Anaheim the second team to advance to the next round with a 4-1 series win.

Minnesota - LA:
After a goal apiece in the first, the Wild score early in the second to carry a one goal lead into the third. From there however the Kings go on a run, scoring three unanswered goals in the third to take a 4-2 win. LA pulls a game back, but the Wild still lead the series 3-2.

Nashville - St. Louis:
In something of a lopsided affair, The Blues aerate Alex Nedeljkovic, scoring two goals in each period despite going 0 for 6 on the powerplay. On the other end Nashville runs into a strong performance from John Gibson, only managing one goal after Stephen Harper scores 14 seconds into the 3rd. The 6-1 win gives St. Louis a 3-2 lead in the series.

Elsewhere we had World Championship games!
Canada 6-3 Austria
Russia 6-3 Poland
Slovakia 3-6 Sweden
France 5-4 Belarus

Ryan Leonard scores in his EHEC debut, at least.

Well, good thing I picked up Jack Johnson, who I guess is going to have to play with Josh Jacobs now to form the epic JJJJ/J4 pair.
