SJ wins a barn burner in COL, holding on to a 3-2 lead through the 3rd period. You'd think the highlight would be the full-ice brawl and goalie fight 4:36 into the third, right? Even though Askarov lost to Oettinger? Well no, Moritz Seider had to be a shithead again and took out Brady Tkachuk for 3 months with 7 minutes to go. That violates five different sections of The Code. Anyway it's too bad we don't have a repeat offender rule because he's only going to miss 14 games.
Oh, and I guess Kovalchuk's now just two goals away from tying Gretz.
