The Hawks take an early lead on Tyrel Seaman's first playoff point, and regain that one-goal lead twice thanks to double-digit goalscorers Muir and Nichushkin, heading into the third period up 3-2. But it all falls apart after that as the Kings' playmaking defensemen end up with eight assists thanks to four straight goals, two by Marty Necas (evidently a more reliable playoff performer than his real life counterpart). And having shredded Riku Helenius, the Kings book their tickets to their first EHEC Finals against that Florida team.

Ahhhhh that sucks!!!! I thought I had you beat with a 2-1 lead in the series Hugo! The 3rd ring will have to wait.

Good luck to the finalists. Now back to getting horrible offers from Ottawa…
