Homepage, Schedule & Results, League Save File

Sorry again for the delay, the baby gave me quite a night. But we love him folks. ANYWHO - on to what really matters, HOCKEY:

Both home teams take their respective game 1s. Both are heavy slugfests with a massive amount of penalties, but everyone escapes unscathed (except LA's Noel, but he's just day-to-day that's not even an injury distinction for playoff hockey).

CHI exerts dominance really, and have the unusual 2-for-4 PP conversion. Nichushkin continues his playoff insanity with a 10-rating perforamnce, which included 2g, 1 apple and 5 shots. Is 7 goals in 6 games good?

CHI - 1; STL - 0

Over in the battle of California, LA jumps out early 2-0, but Kakko nets 2 himself. So its LA - 2, SJ - 0, Kakko - 2. Unfortunately Liljegren scores in the 2nd too, and there's no other scoring save an EN in the last minute. Despite TWENTY (20!) penalties, it amounts to lots of fights and off-setters, and both LA and SJ go 0-4 and 0-2 on the PP, respectively. Steve Mason played outta his mind. Tkachuk won both his fights, so there's that.

LA - 1; SJ - 0
