Tonight had a few close games and a bunch of blowouts (and one tie) with the winners spread fairly evenly between the home and away teams.

The one unfortunate note for the night is Montreal's Mike Forney taking out Columbus' Christian Kyrou for nearly 6 months, earning Forney a 23 game suspension for his trouble.

Regarding Forney’s suspension - MTL only has 18 games remaining, meaning the last 5 games of the suspension will be the first round. Does EHEC count playoff games as 1:1 or is it like the NHL where playoff games count as more than 1 regular season game?

There is no reduced rate for playoff games. Do the crime pay the time.

Anyway, that's 5 50+ point forwards on the season and another three pacing. Not bad.
