Whelp my triumphant return to playoff simming may be at an end quickly with some of these results...

Dallas drops a bomb on SJ in their first game back at home while Markstrom remains unblemished. Colin White appears to have taken the sole exception, with a 5 minute spearing call late in the game (Dallas didn't score on it, not that it mattered). In fairness, he was a -4.

The Ducks with another bomb on their opponent the Hawks, though this time at least Tippet and Muir put a few in. Tippett with the rare 10-rating-in-a-blow-out-loss.

Despite Taylor Hall's late game heroics to bring it close, the Wild hold on to win 4-3. Hischier with the game of his career with 1 goal and 3 apples.

In the sole road-win of the evening, the battered Preds make a statement that they will not go gently into that good night and intend to make a series of this. Committee effort got it done.

No elimination games in the West for at least another round of games.
