It doesn't happen that often for the, ahem, "greatest" franchise in NHL/EHEC history, but please welcome Alex Lavoie (Montreal Lavoie91) as the new GM of the Montreal Canadiens. Alex comes to us via Marty's helpful hockeyvirtuel post, having won a championship in the QHL, n'est-ce pas?
Meanwhile, don't fret about outgoing GM Ty - he voluntarily exiled himself to Winnipeg and will shortly have his username changed to JetsGM. Incidentally, this leaves NJ and (inactive) CGY as the only potentially open teams.
