To New York:
C/R Philip Tomasino (81)
Det 1st 2022 (12OA)
To Florida:
D Quinn Hughes (71)
I needed to shore up the back end after some departures last season, and Hughes should make a solid long-term counterpart to Bouchard, while not compromising my cap space while Vanek and Ladd are still under contract.

Re: New York Rangers/Florida Panthers
Confirmed. Few may remember when FLA ran the Rangers (quite well obviously compared to my stupid face) and he drafted Hughes. So I think there's some sentimental value. I've grown him over the last 2 years and sadly now it looks like I don't get the best years of him. So good luck with Bouchard.
Coming back is a decent pick this year that is already on the block if anyone wants to chat. But even if I don't move it, I get a solid prospect. Tomasino is very consistent middle 6 guy at an awesome price for 2 years - which after picking up Perlini is exactly what I'm looking for.
We went back and forth a lot and happy where we landed.
