Congrats to the 2022 EHEC Champion Dallas Stars, including Game 7 OT hero Vladislav Namestnikov, and my pick for Conn Smythe winner Evgeni Malkin, and their GM and bench boss Martin (remotely via Zoom, presumably).

Re: June 24, 2022
Whoa! I think this was the closest and toughest series in history of EHEC, am I right?
Game 7
Decision in overtime.
What more can you ask?
Amazing series Ty, congrats to you as well, you can be proud.
It was another amazing season and I'm sure all of us can't wait
to get into the off-season and get the next season rolling.
BTW
I'd love to do the podcast thing if it's still an option, haha.

Damn, my good luck charm of not saying anything all playoffs almost worked again...
Congrats Marty! You're a great GM and very deserving.
I did run my own simulations at the beginning and I think no matter what I did, it was a fairly even split in terms of who won any game, so that tells me it was a pretty evenly matched series!
Certainly was expecting to be bounced in the 2nd round after Richards went down, so I'll hold my head up handsome and see if I can make my way back this way again. It'll be difficult to keep some of these guys, but that's usually the case...

Dang! WHAT A FINISH!
Grats again to Martin and Ty - you are both deserving. Dal to MTL back to Dal. Lots of teams got work to do to battle these two.

And this series was really as tight as they come.
Thank you very much Ty.
Your team is an absolute powerhouse but I believe, both you and I will do our best to keep our teams as good as possible going forward. Let's continue the rivalry.

Re: June 24, 2022

I enjoyed my Stanley Cup winning day biking about 80 kilometers.
The viewpoint offers a line of sight with roughly 60-90 kms on all directions.
There's also a nucelar powerplant.
How are you enjoying your summer so far, folks?
Any fellow MTB biker?

Congrats Martin! That's one hell of a run as a 6th seed... a different type of run than two years ago but just as impressive to knock off the star-studded Habs. What a series to wrap it up.
Now... I may, ahem, have some trades to announce...

That's cool. it's never too late to get into it. It's a lot of fun. I live in a location where we have a lot of flat routes but I also did some up-hill and downhill and it's awesome. Riding a bike in Spain has to be beautiful.
