Old Man Hank Lundqvist winds back the clock to prove that vopatization (and goalie attributes, for that matter) ain't no thang, posting a shutout. Nico Daws continues his Dom Hasek impression, stopping 13 powerplay shots and 24 total (or was that 30 total? seriously EHM, what the hell?) to backstop the Red Wings to a 3-3 tie against the Ducks.

Speaking of the Rangers and Red Wings, Kevin evidently cursed the former with his jinx last night, as the Rangers win a Pyrrhic victory against their New York rivals (the downstate ones). Michael Dal Colle opens the scoring, but Chris Summers opens up his abdomen to perform an unlicensed appendectomy late in the third. Summers' medical license will be suspended for the next 25 games, as his claims that he "saved the young man's life; it was gonna blow man!" fall on deaf ears. MDC will unfortunately watch the rest of the season from the press box.
