The quick round-up of arbitrarily selected games:

The battle of the recently-traded-for-each-other goalies was officially won 4-3 by Tuukka Rask, even though Magnus Hellberg had a statistically better game.

The Wild shutout the Blues 3-0 despite not scoring on any of their 5 powerplays.

Ilya Kovalchuk provided all the offense in a 2-0 victory over Ottawa, scoring both (including one unassisted), with Price and the Lightning defence rebounding from giving up 8 goals a couple nights ago. Much like the Wild, they did this without any goals on 5 powerplays.

The Wings stun everyone by not losing. However, they also didn't win, as it was a 1-1 tie, during which Jack Campbell made 37 saves. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Having seen 3-0 and 2-0 already in the night, the Predators decided 1-0 was enough in a low event game against Chicago - both teams had just 18 shots on goal and only one powerplay each.

And the best news of all? No one died of a random knee injury, hurray!

There was only 1 way this was ever going to go and I DID NOT expect to actually win. Thank God,
