I have this and find it incredibly complicated compared to the "Vanilla" version we play but you guys seems to reeeeaaaallly get into the minutia so if you don't have it it's definitely worth a buck!

Yeah I played it for an hour or two or four hundred ish. It gets a bit too easy though, and the new players that come in are worse than the existing NHLers so the balance gets thrown after 10 years or so. I hope they release a new version soon.

FEHM is even easier though to be honest. Playing single player you will always have to add additional rules to not overly abuse the AI.
