The EHEC schedules rolls along as Zubrus plays the late game hero for New Jersey and Buffalo is the beneficiary of some incredibly lopsided officiating in what some hardcore Sabres fans are hailing as a "faith restoring win". The Oilers fall short on Fan Appreciation Night, the Canucks hit a rare losing streak, and the Red Wings squash the Preds with a solid team effort.

I about shat myself when I saw that. I had 23 shots on the PP alone, and still could only muster one goal from it. I think I'm boned come playoff time.

Another pathetic collapse after establishing a 3-1 lead... Kipper won't be starting the next game. One bright side, Backlund gets his 1st NHL goal, and Yashin tallies another one for a measly 4 on the year, but 2 in his last 2 games.
