GM proposal: $1,500,000; comps: Dubnyk, Bishop
Agent proposal: $3,500,000; comps: comps: Campbell, Perhonen

Bishop's recent $2.2M award plays into this; Hellberg has a higher OA and slightly better CON in comparison. Dubnyk is underpaid as hell from the old financial policies; if you want to go that route then Ryan Miller's recent $5.75M award should be considered as well.

Considering the team is looking for a seven-year deal and Hellberg has the POT and definitely the CON to stick as a starter, we'll rule closer to the agent's proposal. $3,150,000 awarded.

An award has been determined in the Andrei Vasilevski arbitration case.

Terms: 7 years
GM comps & proposal: 4.75M; Price, J.Gibson, Fleury
Agent comps & proposal: 6.0M; Campbell, Lehtonen, Fleury

Arguably the next star goalie in the league, with high CON and LE to boot. He was a stud in SJ for one year, and put up more than respectable numbers for the struggling Canucks. Yes, his numbers are similar to Price (but better) and Fleury (very close), but those two are also arb cases this year and will see their salaries increase. Campbell likewise will likely see a significant raise after next season. Vasilevski should be a star in this league for the next decade, and his salary will reflect that. I'll slot him between Fleury and Mason, and award him 5.4M for 7 years.

Jason, you can accept/reject this award. You can also adjust the contract terms to 4 years.
