John Gibson puts on a eye-opening performance and steals two points for his struggling Panthers. The defending champs shutdown the Sabres in their own building. Despite getting dominated in shots, Bub's Rag's steal two points over the Walters Leafs. Vik's stellar UFA signing Devin Tamogotchi nets two as the Wild continue to struggle early on this season.
Doughty snipes the GWG 12 seconds into the 3rd period as EHEC's first Twitter follower suffers a loss. Shawn Horcoff has 9 goals?!?! Varly gets his shutout bid ended late, but Tavares leads the Flyers to a 3-1 win.
The Lightning blow a 3-0 lead to give a Godfather Burke a welcome back from vacation present as Danualt snipes the OT winner on the PP. Ruutu and Voronin snipe two each to give the Canes a W over their former South East division rival Caps. Dr. Taranu continues to climb back up the standings as they edge Martin's stars 4-3. Arizona rolls over the Isles 5-1. Hugo continues to scare the other 29 GMs, spoils Ekblad's debut.
Notes: Put Johnson in the AHL, so PHI now has 4 U20 AHL'ers.
CAR NHL, invalid lines (Staal suspension). Auto'd, but Mahalak started since that who was starting in Dave's lines.
VAN AHL, invalid lines (Bolduc injury). Auto'd.
WPG AHL, invalid lines (Artem Klein). Auto'd. Fast-sign
FLA AHL, invalid lines (Catenacci injury). Auto'd. Fast-sign
*Bub, I was double checking everything and messed up ur lines. I loaded them from the FTP site, but they were dated. Hope I didn't fuck anything up.

Two unlikely guys at the top of the scoring race board. Hossa averaging 2 PTS per game with the Bolts....now only if we could stop letting in 5 goals a game.Commish Bub(NYR) wrote:Oh, Bouchard, you slay me. And everyone else, apparently: 14g in 13gp.
Forgot to say this sim is brought to you by Crown Royal. Woo!

Waiver claim actually. Nice to see him do well while lined up with a couple playmakers. Who'd've thunk that could work? A sniper on a line with a playmaker? It seems so counter-intuitive.Tampa Bay GM wrote:Vik's stellar UFA signing Devin Tamogotchi nets two as the Wild continue to struggle early on this season.
Chicago's still got one contract too many and are currently over the cap.
Also, Connor Brown got a CON drop.

CON drop will be restored for tomorrows simulation. What would we do without Vik?

The cap would now be 80 million bucks b/c I'd get tired of checking it.Tampa Bay GM wrote:What would we do without Vik?

Not that it matters much, but why was Zatkoff starting for Utica? I still had Hogberg selected.

Andreas Johnson is a 1994 born player, therefore a 20 year old for this season, so he should not be considered underaged.

6 games without a W.
Ovechkin's on pace for what might be his worst season ever. Sorry I couldn't find you a better linemate than Rick Nash.
Bergeron and Gagner aren't capable enough ventermen for you?
A couple more hours of sleep would have been enough to realize that Hiller was still between the pipes.
Just a matter of life getting in the way.

Carolina, Arizona, Ottawa and Anaheim next. Better get used to it.
Oh well... fuck.

Meh, i will take the SO loss, but i wish there was a way that we could actually pick who the hell was in the shootouts.

Another solid 36 minutes for Forbort. Smaby gets a whole six. I guess I have to fiddle with the lines again.
Re: November 8th, 2014
OTT PP: 3 of 4 (3 shots)
WPG PP: 0 of 5 (13 shots)
Yah Tom, EHM fucked you up.

At 52:14 flyers got penalty and Ave scored at 54:11. Hows that not a PP goal?
Re: November 8th, 2014
Because Duchene, Landeskog and O'Reilly's +/- suck?Nero Avalanche wrote:At 52:14 flyers got penalty and Ave scored at 54:11. Hows that not a PP goal?
Sometimes EHM works his magic...

Maybe have Q incorporate something into GM Office, so if we're going to rely on that for our lines, it'll have an IR report.

I'll get right on that as soon as my computer is back up, otherwise, my option makes it easier for everyone, including people that might run into this problem.Tampa Bay GM wrote:That, or you could download the file to check for injuries.VancouverCanucksGM wrote:Tampa Bay GM wrote:Check the notes for the sim, bruh.VancouverCanucksGM wrote:Not that it matters much, but why was Zatkoff starting for Utica?
