Our 2010 EHEC Olympic Bronze Medal Game (say that 5 times fast) has been decided as the Swedes claim the consolation prize. Ohlund sets the pace early and Backstrom earns his 1st star choice with 2 goals and an assist. http://ehechockey.com/Olympics.zip will give you the details of the game, and prepare you for tomorrow's Gold Medal showdown.
Congratulations to Team Sweden and Garrick (Dallas GM) on their victory, and to Team Finland and Andrew (Calgary GM) on making it this far in the tournament. Good luck to both Canada and the Czech Republic in tomorrow's finale.

Clearly there aren't any Swedes or Finns around or there would be endless trash talking.

I tried tracking down Juha Junnila from old MILFH, but had no such luck.SharksGM wrote:Clearly there aren't any Swedes or Finns around or there would be endless trash talking.

Would have liked to see how long those guys could possess the puck on a given shift.43:47 6-1 SWE Nicklas Bäckström [3] (Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin)

Well, I got them as far as the real Team Finland, but couldn't bring home the same hardware. Oh well... was a fun tournament. Thanks for putting it on
