Re: April 23, 2014
No sweeps in the East as Boston, Montreal, and Washington rally to keep their Cup hopes alive. Boston makes the most of their twelve shots, putting three past a drowsy Jonathan Bernier. Montreal comes out on top after a wild third period, following a pretty quiet first forty minutes. Washington gets one in OT to spoil the fun in Jersey. And Pittsburgh takes a commanding lead against the plucky Jackets.

Yeah...not good when Adam Erne is your only goal scorer.
At least I didn't get swept.

If you finished one spot higher, would of been interesting to see you play Montreal (would that of happen?) considering what is going on right now in CAR/MTL. Bright future IMO.Commissioner (CBJ) wrote:Yeah...not good when Adam Erne is your only goal scorer.

I was nine points behind Carolina. Wasn't catching them.Tampa Bay GM wrote:If you finished one spot higher, would of been interesting to see you play Montreal (would that of happen?) considering what is going on right now in CAR/MTL. Brad wouldn't have let me have any fun had I beaten him in a series. He'd have cried about it being rigged.
Future's plenty bright. Would probably be even brighter if I spent more time focusing on being a GM as well as co-running this show.

Spending a couple hours test-simming reminded me of how repetitive the work can be with EHM. It shows how GMs have an edge over staff, because we can spend more time on our teams. Thanks to you, and Bub, for all you do.

I think staff should get compensatory draft picks added to the end of the first round, like the NFL does for various reasons. I would take beer and chips over the virtual "hugs" we get currently.Commissioner (CBJ) wrote:I think we should get paid.Bub(NYR) wrote:I think staff should get compensatory draft picks added to the end of the first round, like the NFL does for various reasons. Depends on the brand of both the beer and the chips.Bub(NYR) wrote:I would take beer and chips over the virtual "hugs" we get currently.Commissioner (CBJ) wrote:I think we should get paid.Bub(NYR) wrote:I think staff should get compensatory draft picks added to the end of the first round, like the NFL does for various reasons. Still owe Adam for those Bridgestone golf balls I promised him a week before losing the job.
Who actually donated something? I'm curious.
