Re: April 21, 2014
Four one-goal games, three of which went into overtime....can't ask for anything closer than that!
Pittsburgh shakes off the Jackets tying goal with five seconds left and an empty net to put the pesky Ohioans away in OT. The winning goal? Courtesy of Joonas-killer Rene Bourque. Montreal plays a much better game on the road but the refs help out by giving the Canes a power play in overtime, resulting in Mikko Koivu's winner. Boston blows a 2-goal lead and bows out in, you guessed it, overtime, likely putting a lid on their post-season hopes. And New Jersey holds off a late Caps rally to take a commanding 3-0 lead in their series.

Re: April 21, 2014
Impressive secondary scoring that wins us a critical game 3. Definitely getting some puck luck with another OT win. Who would of thought, if 3/4 EC series would be 3-0, the one who wasn't would be CBJ/PIT. Now if the refs could put their whistle away, we'd have a even better series in Ohio.

These shot totals are pretty dumb, to say nothing of the penalty totals.
Re: April 21, 2014
So the 2nd & 3rd best teams in the entire league are both down 3-0. Riiiiight.

I'll admit, we've been in a slump, but it doesn't make it suck any less. We're flat out getting our asses kicked.
Re: April 21, 2014
9 powerplays... Bunch of goons in Columbus eh! Nice to get the W, but Kiprusoff is terrible so far in the series.

I'm only dressing floaters because my whole second line is injured.SharksGM wrote:Do I ever have some floaty Russians for you!CapsGM wrote:

Then I have to dress goons for my AHL team to replace the floaters I called up.
