Erik Johnson will sit one game for a well-placed stick to the ankle of Henrik Sedin. And speaking of Mr. Erik...

...the Stars score four times after Johnson's major to salt away their game early; the Isles can't hold an early lead against the Bruins, who are trying to right their ship; the Jackets withstand a late Carolina rally to win one on the road; Pittsburgh pushes Buffalo around; and the Oilers and Kings continue to slide down the standings, while San Jose once again sits on top alongside the game-in-hand Coyotes.

points points points. Putting some distance between LA while shutting down Crosby is sweet, as is rocking this homestand. Now to figure out how to keep ahead of those rascally Coyotes...
