Re: September 9, 2013
Some early nights for weary exhibition game travelers -- only two third period goals over the five games tonight.
Carolina's A-team holds da Hawks to eleven shots; Nashville can't stay out of the box allowing Florida to cruise; finally a game with some developmental prospects, as 884 witness a tight affair in Winnipeg; Kari Lehtonen steals the show for the Blues; and Columbus' "Joonas Show" is too much for the Lightning.

EDIT: hopefully the freaking file works right the first time tonight.

Tarasenko +2 strength in one game is half of what he developed last season.
Guess that means he's done hitting the weights for the rest of the year.

Re: September 9, 2013
STR development drives me crazy. Brett Connolly goes two entire seasons in the NHL with his STR hardly developing at all, and then once the playoffs are over and he's not even PLAYING, all of a sudden it jumps by 6 points in a week.CapsGM wrote:Tarasenko +2 strength in one game is half of what he developed last season.

Stupid EHM. I know I'm going to go through the same thing with Blidstrand and Namestnikov because STR is the only thing holding them back at this point...

Re: September 9, 2013
Seem to recall reading on fhockey once that strength is age-related as well. So your 18- and 19-year-old will develop much more slowly than after they hit 20 or 22 or something.
