And our 2010 EHEC World Junior Championships have finally begun!

Sweden, Russia, and the U.S. all, unsurprisingly, dominate in both goals and shots as Germany and Latvia play the first "Round Robin Self-Esteem Booster" game of the tournament, with the Germans earning the early-tournament confidence. Though each year looks similar in results, it'll still be interesting to see how things unfold, how players develop from the experience, and more importantly, which GM potentially earns bragging rights for owning the top scorer of the WJCs.

A goal and two assists isn't even enough to earn Maxim Goncharov a 3rd star. That's okay Gonch, you're still 1st star in our hearts.
