Re: December 18, 2012
It's the hard knock life for the Sharks as the orphan Canucks hold on for a regulation victory. Los Angeles manages to overcome the Red Wings as they press on sans Brown and Beach. The hockey gods have decided to bring the Coyotes back to the pack in the Pacific. Fowler and Seguin lead the way for the Bolts.

Re: December 18, 2012
Home ice bias . Sure, just put up 16 shots against the worst defense in the league. At least I have an excuse to roll with extra practises now and Phoenix lost.
I'm impressed that LA's on top of the league points-wise with a +9 goal differential. I was worried about the Sharks hanging around there for a while but at least we're in double digits now.
Meanwhile, Vasilevski has to actually do some work to pick up his, what, 9th shutout of the season already? He must have more shutouts than some AHL teams have wins.
