Back to the regular season action with 26 of 30 teams partaking in contests this evening. Boston has no troubles dispatching the Senators at home. Pat posts another generic 3-1 victory with the trap. [Pot, meet kettle I know.] Calvin Pickard displays why he was selected before Mr. Campbell, as my Jets took the night off.

Pittsburgh overwhelms Toronto, while Carolina does the same to the Islanders. Brad's vacation from the Habs begins on a fine note. Justin's Lightning may very well make the playoffs after trading away half the team. The Wild have life!

All that and more in the save file..

(P.S. Go to the Calendar screen to see the results from 1/31. When I open the game 1/30 displays on the initial screen.)

Big guns show up in a big way after the break. Went better than the real Jackets game. Mike Priest and John P. McConnell should be getting my resume any day now.

Off to LA!

BUUUUUUUUUUUUURKE!

Actually it was an ok effort other than only one team's top line showing up. Thornton and Heatley must have been exhausted from the all-star game.

Oops, I forgot I had a game. Not that it matters; in Phoenix all strategizing goes as follows:

Q: Is Shane Doan dressed for the game?

A: Yes

Instead of your legendary, now-lost team news update, you should have just posted this.

The post said 250 words. The two words Shane and Doan, when used together, account for 276 words.

Would have been acceptable.
