So Adam had a computer reliability issue tonight, rather than jeopardize tonight's sim we agreed I take care of it. Results were firey, two attempting to injure penalties resulting in Orpik gone for a month and Datsyuk gone for two. Happy Halloween!

Yeah, sorry guys. I've been having a freezing issue. At first, I thought it was the BIOS battery, so I got a new one of those for a penny (and of course $4.99 shipping; and it was mailed in a standard envelope with a 43 cent stamp). Turns out that wasn't the problem, so I busted open the computer and unit protecting the processor was extremely hot to the touch and filled with more dust than Queen Elizabeth's lady parts.

Suffice to say, I think I need a new fan by the processor.

If it was a 3 or 4 game sim, it'd have been fine. But, since it was an 11-gamer, I didn't want to run the risk of it freezing multiple times while trying to sim.

Nice to see my PK do a fantastic job covering for the rest of the team's mistakes. I hate playing Miller all the time, but christ, Legace needs to the job when he's in.

Almost blew a 3-1 lead but Ducks prevail in the end! Coach Bombay must be giving some damn inspiring speeches before games because these Ducks refuse to lose.

You should be able to clean out the dust with a can of compressed air, which is usually easier than installing a new fan (assuming the old one still actually turns).

Wasn't Datsyuk already injured or did he come back and get hurt yet again?

Datsyuk had only been active for a few games, yeah.

Hopefully we can turn this ship around, there's not much left to work with on the team but Smith really should be playing better he has not helped the team much during his starts so he is getting the axe in favour of Dubnyk for a few games. Suprised the power play has been as leathal as it has been, wiothout it I couldn't imagine where we would be. :?

So far, I haven't had the computer freeze yet since I got some of the dust out. But the fan is spinning, I just don't think it spinning at full capacity.
