Five separate intent to injure penalties resulting in a couple of significant injuries. Artemy Panarin will miss the next four months and Kyle Turris will sit out for a month. On the ice, the Jackets look like a real hockey team while three shootouts and an overtime game provide league-wide excitement. Except for Washington/Winnipeg, which led to the majority of the crowd leaving early in disgust to watch the Jets-Broncos game which they deemed to be more exciting.

In other news, the league has reviewed the Nov. 14 incident between Buffalo's Zack Kassian and Montreal's Patrik Nemeth and has decided to suspend Zack Kassian for the next eight games.

With Niemi in I suppose I'll take the point. Bring on those damn Rangers on the 19th.

I should trade more players so they light it up in their last game.

Fun facts: Evander Kane scores 2 in EHEC and the NHL. Kyle Wellwood put up two points in the NHL and 3 in... well, EHEC AHL. Pavel Kubina takes out Matthew Lombardi indefinitely (why poor Lombo??) and beats up former Shark Alex Grant. Coincidentally, Lombardi also suffered an injury in the NHL tonight, although I hope it's not indefinite. And finally, the three top teams in the west are LA, SJ and PHO... goddamn this division sucks. They're half of the 6 teams above .700 in the league.

Home victories over division rivals, fan-tastic.

26 SOG between both teams, no wonder everybody was packed on the concourse. Fine by me though.

Couture/Kane/Forbort all in three stars. A win-win deal.

Oh and Boooooooooo... stad!

Enough with the turrible and not bad. Please be more creative. Something like my team GM sucks or is an idiot or knows nothing about hockey but he is a great figure skater...

Nice to bring Sharks to overtime with backup goalie...

Without Lombardi, no Cup!?!$%!
