The Devils take the second point in the shootout from the Bruins. PHO/NYR/CBS/PIT all take care of business in winnable games. Detroit makes a statement in the Central Division by knocking off the Blues on the road. Nashville stuns Washington with backup Mike Smith in net. Finally, Dallas and Calgary put up 9 spots?

meh every test sim was a 3-1 loss anyways, so starting Theodore was the only beneficial move to make...

Leaving St.Louis with 2pts shouldn't be considered a statement by any visiting team says my 3-5 home record.

The only statement I'd like to make is to remove the slumping word next to almost every player on Detroit. Especially C.Perry who is on pace for 20 goals or less.

By the way, first game I do not give up a PP goal in a long long time. There is hope

Holy shit, Minnesota. 5 shots on net? And you said your team couldn't compete, Adam. :P

Owen Nolan, meet JOEY JOE JOE!!! Good on Kartayev too for not wasting any time getting on the scoresheet. And while Auld wasn't exactly spectacular, he did at least keep the team in the game. That, combined with Greiss' miserable play for Portland this year guarantees that Auld will continue to collect an NHL paycheque for at least another start or two. At least until Matt "Trip" McNeely starts knocking on the door.

Well, just last week, the Down Syndrome All-Star team beat Minnesota 3-1 in a practice scrimmage, so I'm not reading too much into my victory.

Now, if I win a roadie against Boston tomorrow, I may ease off on trading and firing everybody.
