1. What is the best role that your favorite actor/actress has played?

Matthew McConaughey is one of my favourite actors and he was outstanding in Lincoln Lawyer.

2. What's the one item you will absolutely overpay for just because of it's high quality?

Hmm.....tough call since I actually don't buy a lot of things. Maybe blu-ray's? They are expensive but I find so much better than DVD's. Shoes is probably one, I always buy somewhat expensive shoes.

3. TV show that you can't understand why people like it so much?

Glee.

4. Are there any magazines that you actually still have a subscription to?

Negative.

5. In one word, describe Hugh Hefner.

He can't be described in one word, come on. On one hand, he's living every guys dream, but on the other hand it's disgusting that those girls are actually having sexual content with a man of his age.

1. John Goodman in any of his Coen appearances - Big Lebowski, Barton Fink, O Brother; Clint in the Good the Bad and the Ugly; Tony Leung in Hard Boiled. Rashida Jones in anything, tragically.

2. Can't pay too much for quality food. It's what you eat!

3. Definitely Glee, Two and a Half Men, True Blood (okay, I understand the appeal of True Blood, but seriously.)

4. Grain, and anything else I've been submitting to... not out of an overwhelming love for print magazines though.

5. Enterprising. (There were skin mags before Hefner and he paved the way for dirtier ones, and certainly the whole medium is moot these days, but Hefner pushed the idea of a 'men's magazine' that could match beaver pictures with serious literature and journalism. More hardcore magazines followed, and more 'literate' magazines continue to exist, but it's Playboy that's iconic.) Close second - lecherous.

1. What is the best role that your favorite actor/actress has played?

Gotta go with Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting. Helped that he co-wrote it so it was acting based on the character he gave himself, but it's a role with a lot of feeling. Mad props to Liam Neeson for Oskar Schindler in Schindler's List too. Not an easy role to play.

2. What's the one item you will absolutely overpay for just because of it's high quality?

Charmin Extra Soft toilet paper. Cannot wipe my ass with sandpaper.

3. TV show that you can't understand why people like it so much?

Used to be 24, but now it has to be House. I just can't watch it.

4. Are there any magazines that you actually still have a subscription to?

Hell no.

5. In one word, describe Hugh Hefner.

Visionary. To echo what Zaq said. Guy built an empire by constantly pushing the envelope, and he used to have some of the absolute best writers of the time writing articles for his magazine. In terms of a self-started, non-manufactured goods brand name, it has to be one of the world's most recognizable.

I can't get it either. Wife watches the show, but she's starting to get less and less excited about watching it. Part of it is because she's read all the books and the series deviated a ton from those. It's just a bunch of bayou, blood-sucking rednecks and gratuitous sex. Can't see the interest in it.

Maybe not 'gay,' but (what I would call) a weird choice for the Pacino fan, unless you're more a fan of the camp-y, over the top stuff he's been doing in the last twenty years.

he's obv been in some huge movies. However, for me when he's about to attempt suicide and he's screaming at the kid about being in the dark. I can only imagine what it would be like to have your sight taken away from you (of all the senses, for me that would be the most crushing to lose) and the emotion in his voice, i dunno. something about that movie is very timeless for me.

oh, and "if I was the man I was 5 years ago, ID TAKE A FLAMETHROWER TO THIS PLACE" is epic.

1. What is the best role that your favorite actor/actress has played?

Edward Norton in Fight Club.

2. What's the one item you will absolutely overpay for just because of it's high quality?

Coach leather goods. I just bought a $750 satchel.

3. TV show that you can't understand why people like it so much?

There aren't any really... I mean, almost any reality show and garbage like Jersey Shore all absolutely fucking suck, but I still understand why people like them: because they are mindless undereducated retards. No offense to any of you retards who actually watch that crap. ;)

4. Are there any magazines that you actually still have a subscription to?

Nah, I was going to sign up for Wired but the Canadian subscription cost is stupidly expensive. I mostly just buy whatever I feel like from the newsstand.

5. In one word, describe Hugh Hefner.

Not a member, but I check it out sometimes. You can spend your whole day on it...

So instead I spend my whole day on HF/Facebook/EHEC, which isn't much more productive (aside from EHEC, of course).
