Re: March 2, 2011
The Monster steals the show for TO, the Flames have a trade deadline hangover in Chicago while Zetterberg pays immediate dividends against his former mates. http://www.ehechockey.com/EHEC.zip.
Re: March 2, 2011
Good start for Zetterberg with two seeds on Geztlaf goals(2). Great start of Burnmistrov with his 1st goal in his 1st NHL game.

Of course when I actually WANT to lose, they win. Gustavsson, where has this been all season? And the Monster gets no love in the 3 stars.

Re: March 2, 2011
Apparently putting up a .973 sv% against a top team in the league isn't star-worthy. Suck it, Gustavsson.
Big thanks to da Hawks for that severe beatdown on Calgary. I guess that's payback for Kiprusoff's ridiculous performance against da Sharks a few games back, but actually 4 of the goals were on Curtis 'should never play in the NHL again' McElhinney.
PS I wonder if Brad's going to change his mind on Zetterberg vs Perry after tonight's performances by both...

The last thing I need in my division is Chicago getting on an absolute tear. And they have.
Three games left with STL. CHI once in April. Going to be a fun ride down the stretch.

Re: March 2, 2011
They're in the deleted mail in the league email box. With all the other lines after we input them. I notice that there was no sent mail to you that they were received/inputted. They're timestamped 9:30 pm or something like that from last night. So either Nick accidentally missed them and then deleted the email or Ryan assumed Nick had done it since they came in before last night's sim.Penguin wrote:Outshot by 20... Whatever happened, accidents/mistakes do happen. There were 15 or so sets of lines, and Nick was working where he couldn't save because he had to advance to the next day for all the traded guys. Sorry about that, Bern. I'll put them in tomorrow when I sim, though you don't play tomorrow.
Sorry again man. I'm sure it was an honest mistake.

No problem at all. I was just wondering, wanted you guys to know for next time, or what not!
I'll have new lines in, so leave them in the deleted box. Thanks

Re: March 2, 2011
Appreciate you handling it well. Like I said when I edited that post, there were tons of lines and Nick was probably worried about getting things done quickly since he couldn't save. He was running XP on a virtual machine with a new Windows 7 install and had mentioned a potential crash to me.Penguin wrote:No problem at all. Re: March 2, 2011
Nah....Zetterberg is better, but Perry is also 5? 6? years younger, and cheaper, and not worth the 1st + Sbisa to get Zetterberg.SharksGM wrote:Apparently putting up a .973 sv% against a top team in the league isn't star-worthy. Suck it, Gustavsson.

Re: March 2, 2011
Hey Montreal GM, you can say what you want about my trade, but i think you are just jalous because I didn't trade you Perry. Zetterberg is better in offense, better in defense, bigger leadership, bigger consistency and a great 6 years long therm contract. Sbisa is a good d-man, but with the addiction of Campoli, Sbisa was a player i can move, and for the 1st, yes he is hight for now, but with a couples of wins he could be around mid 1st pick. Anyway, i have a late 1st pick, so my 1st pick was avalaible for a good player.
It's a good trade for both sides, so i hope you will stop to say that the trade was a bad one for me, like you said in the deadline chat too.

Re: March 2, 2011
Sorry Matt, I actually had the game crash while I was half-way through the instructions. I know I entered them at least once, I must've missed them the second time through; I'll take the hit on this one . That's the biggest downside to EHM, only being able to save once all games for the day have been completed, and stuff not fully transferring until the next day. Being from western NY, I can guarantee you that I was NOT paid off by Toronto .Commissioner (CBJ) wrote:Appreciate you handling it well. Trust me, I wanted to lose.
Re: March 2, 2011
It's just my opinion bud, has nothing to do with me offering something for Perry. Perry has a long term contract too and was already 6 years younger. Figure it this way, what I offered you for Perry, I would have never ever offered for Zetterberg.AnaheimGM wrote:Hey Montreal GM, you can say what you want about my trade, but i think you are just jalous because I didn't trade you Perry. Also, I ended up getting Hemsky, who's better than Perry, and on the same offensive level as Zetterberg, and 3 years younger.
It's just one person's opinion (I'm not alone on the matter) but still. Zetterberg is an upgrade over Perry for sure, but not worth giving up your 1st round pick (when you're a non-playoff team) and Sbisa is a pretty good dman.
