The Ducks have traded their star player Jeff Carter seemingly out of nowhere. They sent him along with a second round pick up the coast to San Jose. In return they received a young, well rounded player in Dubois as well as a first-round pick. This move seems to indicate GM Duckduckdeke has decided that it is about time to start retooling after the disaster of a season last year. It will be interesting to see how Dubois fits into the lineup. I know Duck fans will miss Carter and wish him all of the best.
