Čevapčiči are pretty popular and wide-spread also here in Slovakia so I can't say that it's something exotic to us, but good point regardless.
World cup - I think they got over it. It was a big success for them, overall.
We were in Istria, city called Pula - there's a colosseum in it. Quite simillar to that one in Rome. Nice city, palms, rather stony beaches but beautiful views and nice people. Actually, I don't enjoy swimming in the see all that much, it's salty af. But we had great times :)
And we also visited one smaller city near the area, called Rovinj, in Croatia. It's very old town. It was really nice. We actually also drove through Jesenice, a place where Anže Kopitar was born. Seems like a middle of nowhere, but surrounded with Alps. And we also visited Lake Bled in Slovenia. It was beautiful. Check it out if you're interested :)

I suggest you hop on the ferry from Split to Hvar! And go to the Carpe Diem island party even if you don’t like to go out it’s worth being there!
