A huge third period propels the Anaheim Ducks into the second round with the upset over the top-seeded San Jose Sharks. Patrice Bergeron's first of the series could not have come at a better time as the Jets move on. Calgary takes advantage of another terrible performance by Roberto Luongo and has a chance to finish off the Coyotes at home on Saturday. The Blues dominate the hapless Hawks and move on to the second round.

Playoff sv%: Fucale .909, Perhonen .893, *scroll down a lot* Vasilevski .838, Dipietro .838, Allen .806 (1 game), and Luuuuuu .796. Okay then.

More fun facts: Sj record in last 2 years: 104-46-14, discount probably 14 shootout wins for a .640 win%. Playoffs: 3-8. I think Worcester managed to win a couple of playoff games during that span. So I guess I must have made a pact with the devil to win a Cup in exchange for never winning a playoff series again.

Anyhow, congratulations to Jonathan. He deserves credit for not bailing out on his season, keeping Zetterberg and adding Heatley & Budish.
